Bournemouth Manor Steps

Bournemouth Manor Steps forms part of the 15 kilometre coastline of Poole Bay on the Dorset coast. It is a sandy beach resort, approximately one kilometre wide, backed by the promenade and beach huts. Behind the beach is Poole bay cliffs SSSI. Manor Steps Zig Zag is a beach accessed by a path that provides stunning views. From the top of the path, visitors can see The Needles, the Isle of Wight, the Purbecks, and Old Harry Rocks. The descent to the beach is relatively easy, although it can be tiring to climb back up, especially with children. However, there are benches along the way where visitors can rest and enjoy the view. Manor Steps Zig Zag is a popular access point for Manor Beach and the top of the cliff. The views from the beach are enjoyable in all weather conditions. There is a small kiosk at the bottom of the path where ice cream is sold.
